Behind the Scenes
We all know that no production is possible without the work of the amazing men and women who work tirelessly behind the scenes. If you want to help make the magic happen on stage, but performing just isn't your thing, please contact us at parrishplayworksinc@gmail.com with your technical resume. We are always looking for dependable stage managers, assistant stage managers, props crew, running crew, scenic designers, set painters, etc. If you don't have any tech experience, but you want to learn and enjoy the company of creative people working together in a theatrical environment, contact us. Please note: all crew members must be age 18 and over. Anyone interested in stage managing should have previous experience running a show and provide references from other theaters. Those interested in scenic design, please have a link to your online portfolio of past works.
Front of House
We need bright, efficient, and friendly faces to greet our audiences, take tickets, perhaps dress the lobby, wrangle late patrons, and keep the front of the house running smoothly. If you have a gift for writing or using social media, contact us about working on publicity. Let us know how you would like to be a part of this company when show time rolls around!
Technical Support
Stage lighting and sound, including music, are critical elements to any stage performance. As a non-profit community theater, we greatly depend on sound and lighting volunteers who draw satisfaction from working with their love of live performance.
