Got Talent?

We are always looking for new talent to bring to our stage!  We are proud that our company of performers includes a diverse group of talented people, from those who have never stepped on a stage to those who have worked professionally on stage or in film in New York City, Los Angeles, and around the world.  However, energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn are just as important as training or experience.

Auditions for Murder on the Moonshine Express

Wanted: Actors, young to older adults, 3 male, 3 female. We are looking for people with lively expression, energy, and endurance; musical and dance skills a plus (but not vital) to join us for live performances on board Florida Railroad Museum's who-dun-it-mystery-dinner


will be held upstairs at the Parrish YMCA

on Tuesday and Thursday

December 10 and 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM

and Saturday, from 9:00 AM to noon

• Time needed: auditionees will be called every 15 mins. to 30 mins.

• Wear comfortable clothing and get ready to sing and play along with us 

• Preparation: these will be cold readings; actors will be given script excerpts to read

• Rehearsals will be T-W-Th (6:30--9:00 PM) as called (you may not have to attend all) and Saturdays (1--4 PM) with 2 rehearsals starting in December; continuing in January--

February until show opens.;

• NOTE: qualified actors will receive a stipend for performances.

• Performances are scheduled weekends starting February 14--through March 8

It’s the Roaring 20s, but Prohibition is in full swing.  When things get too hot for Frankie and his crew from the Chicago Outfit, they come down to Florida to cool off and get a piece of the local bootleg action.  Frankie and his gang are here to celebrate the grand re-opening of his new speakeasy, but current owner Mama Bear Hunsucker and her family aren’t in the mood to celebrate, and she’s plotting a hostile takeover of her own, with a little song and dance thrown into the mix.  Join the mobsters, molls and Mama's family on the train ride out to Willow for a bit of mayhem, moonshine and maybe a -- Murder on the Moonshine Express?  It’s gonna be a party to die for!
